What is Sentimentator?
Sentimentator is an experimental online tool that was created to study public opinion. Its purpose is to reflect trends.
How does this work?
Users add their opinions to the site or join the opinions of other users. Then they vote for these opinions by clicking on checkboxes. Each click on a checkbox brings your team one point. There are 1000 checkboxes on the battlefield.
If someone with a different opinion clicks on your checkbox, you lose a point.
The top 3 opinions with the most checkboxes at the given second are displayed at the top of the main page.
Why is this necessary?
I'm a web developer and this is my experiment, inspired by the "One Million Checkboxes" project. I'm interested to know how much people will like the opinion competition and whether it will be possible to draw relevant conclusions about common trends in public opinion based on the voting.
